Introduced 30 years ago and last produced in 1997, the Nordic Tug 26 is back by popular demand. While we’ve modified her to take advantage of advances in technology, she remains true to her roots, and her timeless style attracts interest from curious onlookers at the docks and on the water.
The 26 was the first Nordic Tug model, developed during the oil embargo years of the mid-1970s, with a fuel-stingy design that complimented her nostalgic “slow cruising” tugboat appearance. Though her 110 hp (80.9 kw) Yanmar diesel burns less than one gph at six knots or two gph at eight knots, she can still kick it up when needed to reach a top speed of 14 knots.
Four adults can sleep in comfort with plenty of room for gear, making her the perfect vacation and weekend boat for couples and small families.
